By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Nahor Calendar mobile application (Package Name: com.nahor.app) or our website (https://nahor.kahuwa.in/), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must discontinue using our services.

2. Informational, Cultural & Almanac Usage

Nahor Calendar is designed as a cultural and astronomical resource for the people of Assam and global admirers of Assamese heritage.

• Astronomical Calculations: Bhaskarabda solar dates, tithis, nakshtras, pakshas, and solar transit (Sankranti) hours are computed based on traditional Surya Siddhanta models and local solar coordinates for Guwahati, Assam (26.1445° N, 91.7362° E).
• Government Holidays: All gazetted and restricted holidays are synchronized with notifications issued by the General Administration Department (GAD), Government of Assam. While we strive for rigorous accuracy, government orders, election dates, or executive amendments published in the official Assam Gazette supersede any mobile application display.
• Astrological Disclaimer: Daily horoscope (Rashiphal) and Vedic Gochar insights are provided solely for cultural interest and personal guidance. They should not substitute for professional legal, medical, or financial counseling.

3. Intellectual Property Rights & Acceptable Use

All original code, algorithms, graphic assets, typography mappings, compiled JSON calendar structures, and branding logos (including the Nahor circular flower emblem) are the exclusive intellectual property of Kahuwa Digital / Nahor Calendar Team.

4. Assamese Phonetic Keyboard Use

The integrated Assamese Phonetic Keyboard allows typing in eastern Nagari / Assamese script. You agree not to utilize the tool for generating or transmitting any unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or harmful content.

5. User Accounts & Data Responsibility

When utilizing optional Google Sign-In, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your device and credentials. You may terminate your account or erase all synchronized data at any time through the in-app profile menu or by emailing [email protected].

6. Third-Party Services (Google Play & AdMob)

Our services integrate with trusted third-party platforms including Google Play Services and Google AdMob. Your interactions with these providers are subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability or practices of external services.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

THE SOFTWARE AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NAHOR CALENDAR TEAM AND ITS AFFILIATES DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE APPLICATION OR WEBSITE.

8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the substantive laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Guwahati, Assam, India.
